"Terrifyingly written and so realistic. From a master of suspense, an activist for human rights and against nuclear weapons, comes a disturbingly believable story of people who are ready to risk their lives—and AI is of a great help for it—to save the humankind from governing sociopaths and criminals. Though fiction, it is not. Ranked as a thriller, the book gives an impression of nowadays chronicles."

Dead but not Gone
To this day, Marilyn Monroe remains a Hollywood icon. Countless narratives exist about how and why the 32 year-old starlet suddenly died. The popular "story" from law enforcement officials is that Marilyn took her life, but as one pries open the book of this vivacious, passionate and entrepreneurial woman who was making strides to break the chains of a patriarchal grip on the industry, one sees another picture.
In Dead but not Gone, a fiction, the author presents us with a chance to reexperience Marilyn when a bizarre energy flare flashes over Los Angeles and her tomb, and moments later, the blonde emerges looking the same as the day she died. Realizing that she has been given a 2nd chance at life, Marilyn decides to tell the world the true story, what really happened on that fateful night. This is an enchanting read with an element of thrills and spills and romance, but nonetheless, offers up another perspective about why the life of one of the most successful women in the world at the time was suddenly eclipsed.
"With just the perfect amount of technical and scientific information you dive into a compelling story of what ifs. Funny, with drama and a touch of a love story this book had it all. Thank you Réal for this wonderful opportunity to see life from beyond the grave."
When Cowboys Fall
Trent McCallister, a born and raised cowboy from Canada's west, vacationing in Cyprus in the hopes of finding reconciliation for his mid-life crisis, didn't expect to be knocked overboard from his skiff, but when it happened, and he found himself floating in the middle of the Aegean Sea, it looked like his days were numbered. Trent's life was about to take a turn. When Cowboys Fall is an inspired story that most anyone can relate to, about the roads we walk, and when that road ahead suddenly becomes shorter than the one we have travelled. This is a story about rediscovery, finding abandoned dreams and true love - an inspiring story that reminds us it is never too late to change the road we are on.
See Me Not
There are so many things in our world that should be changed or fixed to bring balance and equality to all, but there is one subject that most will agree is flagrant and needs to be stopped - child exploitation. Inspired by an actual six year-old-girl - a survivor of the 2004 Tsunami, See Me Not is a literary fiction detailing with lucid reality what happens to young Indian girls who are commonly sold into sexual slavery as early as the age of eight. Hann'sha, who was sold to traffickers by her father in order to feed the rest of his family, also not uncommon, endures years of sexual abuse by men, until one day, when an American student vacationing in Calcutta, discovers her plight, and against all odds, a dangerous and entrenched criminal network and a corrupt law enforcement, takes it upon himself to try and free her from her slavery.
See Me Not pulls no punches, it is a sordid reminder that modern slavery still exists; but it also reminds us about the indelible nature of the human soul and hope.
"In spite of the gruesome subject, the reading is not depressing. Written in elegant prose, it is not only about the ills of humanity, but also about hope and optimism which, as the novella suggests, should be part of our lives no matter what." - Author, A. Markman
Twilight Visitor
Mateus Cordozo has just returned to his hometown of Afife, Portugal, a short vacation where he hopes to reconcile his midlife crisis - far from his "normal" life as a bio-engineer back in Sweden. With two bottles of wine, cheese and freshly baked-bread, he finds a secluded spot on a blustery beach, where he is certain that no one will interrupt his soul-searching. But that's where the vacation ends. A stranger appears and soon informs him that a nuclear war is imminent as China has just invaded Iran for its oil, and that he and his particular research group back in Sweden have the means of stopping the debacle. An introvert and certainly not the hero-type, Cordozo adamantly rejects her claim as ridiculous and outlandish, but over the course of the next hours, all of that will change as the global theater enters into a race against time - the bomb or mankind - and Mateus has to make a decision.
"The story races along with pace of a Tom Clancy thriller but the depth of the plot is rich in complexities philosophical ideas. Highly recommended for readers who like fast paced thrillers but with an ingenious twist." - Book-Reviewer.com
Deception People
No one believed him. In fact, they wanted to shut him up because of what he knew so they locked him away in a high-security mental institution. Troy Evans tripped across something he wasn't supposed to know about, in fact, no one was, until the day it happened - an event that would make 9/11 look like a Sunday stroll in the park. One person however, his psychiatrist, eventually realizes that Troy isn't mentally deranged as the authorities claimed - and at that moment, they become the most hunted people in America as they try to find someone who will listen before it is too late.
"Deception People. Telling the truth can be fatal, is the first of a series of books that is a well written, intriguing, action-packed thriller with a supernatural twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you like Patriot Games and The Bourne Identity, I recommend this book."
When Gods Roar
What if an alien, human-like and barely indistinguishable for us, showed up at the steps of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory with a proposal? Is it a hoax, a fake, is he a charlatan? Certainly he cannot be what he claims - an alien who escaped his world, looking for refuge in ours and in exchange is willing to impart all the technology and knowledge from his home world - but there's a catch - first we have to eliminate all nuclear weapons and divest military powers of their use.
Sounds impossible! Sounds incredible - but what if it actually happened - would humanity jump at the prospects of getting advance technology that would allow us to jump the stars and interact with other cultures, or would the powers-that-be, and those invested in war and the military-industrial complex bring undue pressure to governing powers to simply lock the charlatan away while figuring out how to reverse-engineer his ship and squeeze him for all they could get? Which way would humanity go?
When Gods Roar is a revealing and insightful sociological and geopolitical thriller.
"In all my 83 years I have never read any book, including the Christian and Judaic versions of the Bible, which offers so much depth in the guise of a novel." B. Rourke, author
